Sandamalee is a co-founder
of Amazing Lanka Tours & Travels (Pvt.) Ltd. Holding a B.Sc.
degree from the University of London in Information Systems;
she was a pioneering member of Affno
(Pvt.) Ltd – the leading software company in Sri Lanka.
She started her career at Affno (Pvt.) Ltd as a usability engineer,
where she was trained to empathize with software product users
and gained an in-depth intuitive knowledge on users’ requirements.
Then under the personal guidance of Mr. Suren Kannangra, the
CEO of Affno (Pvt.) Ltd, she trained as an information architect.
As an information architect, she was part of the team that developed
some of Affno’s greatest products such as the Project
Tracking System, which includes both a document management flow
and an extranet to one of the leading annual report designing
companies in Sri Lanka and an intranet to the External Resource
Department of the Finance Ministry of Sri Lanka. The World Bank
highly acclaimed the system designed by her for the Ministry
of Water & Irrigation.
The exposure at Affno (Pvt.) Ltd has given her a creativity
to meet the toughest challenges, superb organization skills
and strength to empathize with one’s requirements and
a dedication to provide for these requirements with the greatest
ease and comfort for that person. With these skills, today she
leads the functions of Amazing Lanka Tours & Travels (Pvt.)
Ltd and also acts as a consultant to the on-going projects of
Affno (Pvt.) Ltd. |
