day – Sunday |
| On
the first day of your tour, your itinerary focuses on helping
you to settle and get acclimatized to the new environment. On
the first day, you will explore Colombo
at a very comfortable pace. |

You will be personally met at the Bandaranaike
International Airport and assisted on any required services
by Jetwing
– one of the leading travel services in Sri Lanka. An
experience chauffeur-guide will take you to your hotel, Hotel
Mount Lavinia. |

You will breakfast at the hotel. |
| |

| iii. |
After a leisurely breakfast, you will be picked
up by your chauffeur-guide for an interesting tour of Colombo.
You will see the elegance of the old Parliament complex and
the serenity of the Independence Square. |

| iv. |
You will lunch at Kolu’s
Frangipani restaurant, where the food is simply divine. The
skills of Kolu, the chef, are held in the highest esteem. |

After lunch, you will return to your hotel, where
you may enjoy the private golden-sandy beach or cool off by
dipping into the pool or read by the terrace. The Mount Lavinia
terrace, facing the sea and the city outline beyond, is an amazing
place and was described by Newsweek as the ‘…world’s
best gathering places’. This is one of the few places
to serve the English High tea. Enjoy your tea with asparagus
rolls, fruit skewers, tea scorns with jams and cream at the
terrace while watching the sun set and the city light up. (Please
note that tea is not included in the tour price) |
