Day – Wednesday |
| The
highlight of the 4th day’s tour might be the visit to
the silversmith’s workshop. When Prince and Princess of
Wales got married, the Government of Sri Lanka selected this
silversmith to design the wedding present to the Royal couple.
Princess of Wales, impressed with the delicate intricacies of
the silver tea set’s design, wrote her appreciation to
the owner of the establishment. |

Your third culinary program will commence at 9.00
AM. (Please select the appropriate date on the calendar to view
the meal you would be preparing.) |

After your culinary program, your chauffeur-guide
will take you on a tour around Kandy. One of your first stops
would be to the botanical gardens. Take a walk down Dalada veediya
(Dalada Street), where the street is lined with cozy restaurants
and bakeries. Do stop at Delight,
the sweet shop and taste a variety of Sri Lankan sweets and
festive sweetmeats. |

A few steps from Delight are the Pub,
which is popular among both the locals and the tourists. |

Before returning to the hotel, take up Pub’s
offer and hop into Koffeepot,
the internet café and e-mail your family and friends
back at home. |
